The first curtains I ever had made were in this go-anywhere colour and they have followed us to every house we’ve lived in since. They still look just as fresh as they did twenty years ago and the colour is ideal for everything from a dreamy, relaxed bedroom scheme to a more formal sitting room. Next to paints and wallpapers in soft colours it looks incredibly crisp and smart and also works well with patterned fabrics that have a white background.
Woven to create a wonderfully relaxed and used look, yet robust in texture, it is ideal for everything from curtains and blinds to headboards. Whilst heavyweight enough for upholstery and cushions, the colour is a little less practical.
Linen has a unique combination of properties; the ability to absorb pigment during manufacture giving depth of colour and its natural durability combine to result in a fabric that ages beautifully, getting softer in both colour and to touch over years of use.
£38 per metre. Cut lengths can not be returned unless faulty. Linen is a natural product and minor slubs and imperfections are part of its charm.
