07 Apr Decorating on a budget
Decorating on a budget can be daunting, especially when the fabrics you love are hand printed and made in small print runs, often to order. Whilst utterly gorgeous, the prospect of ordering 10m for a pair of floor length curtains can be out of your reach.
Why not pick a good quality plain for anything metre hungry such as large curtain, sofa covers etc and use the special print on something that is really going to make an impact. This can be cushions, roman blinds, edges on curtains, stools or even table cloths on occasional tables.
Whilst it can seem safer to keep to a calming palette of neutrals when decorating a room, introducing pattern, even in its most discreet form gives a layer of interest and personality hard to achieve with plains alone.
What could be better than Helene from Anna Jeffreys, partnered here with a heavy weight Belgian linen.
