Meet Birdie Fortescue

Birdie Fortescue is an interior designer who expanded into homeware after moving to Norfolk and opening a shop in Burnham Market. With a background in antique dealing her look combines her own design homeware with antique furniture and contemporary art. Birdie’s travels provide the initial inspiration for every colour, pattern and technique in the collections and she works with highly skilled artisans using traditional dyeing, metalwork, glass blowing and carving methods in India and beyond. She has also introduced Limited Edition and Curated Edition collections to the mix which bring together carefully sourced limited run or unique pieces from around the world. The company is now based in the market town of Fakenham with a showroom, warehouse and design studio in one premises.

With her trademark relaxed take on English country style, Birdie has just created her first ever fabric designs that offer a great way to add simple, graphic pattern to a scheme. In addition, there are cushions, throws, tablemats, tablecloths that will lend the perfect finishing touch to any scheme.

I’m delighted to tell you that interior designer Birdie Fortescue’s fabrics, cushions and accessories are now available on my shop.  See below for a selection.
